Sandra's Story
This should give a lot of people a good laugh, who knew me in high school. Went to college, played and taught tournament chess. Mainly taught notation and manners. Just barely average as a player. Married, had two kids, moved to TX divorced. Then for over twenty years, I sold cake decorating equipment and other crafts to places like Penney's, Michael's, Hobby Lobby etc. For many years I traveled a five state area. n front of the doors and windows. After awhile I carried a door alarm instead, and used other methods. Then I trained cake decorators in safety. After explaining various safety methods, it was brought to my attention that over 10 of the 40 teachers in the room carried hand guns and knew how to use them. Now I work at the Historical Commission on a data base, helping people to trace their family history. It is a county seat in TX. The city is 7,500. I still see the funny side of life.
