Sandra's Story
After 4 years at ACI, I took my final year at Etobicoke Collegiate in Special Commercial. Upon graduation I moved with my parents & brother to London Ontario where I worked for an insurance company & did some part-time modelling.
I met my first husband, a Norwegian pilot, on the train going to To. and went to Norway at the end of 1962 where we were married. I worked for the American Air Force in Oslo for over a year until my first son was born in 1964. I returned to Canada for the birth of my second son in 1965. After 13 years of marriage we were divorced and I was a single parent for several years, working in senior administrative positions in and around London, Ont.

volleyball at the London YM-YWCA, where I worked . He was in the army and we moved back and forth across the country until settling just outside of Ottawa in 1999, where we live today.
We have 3 grandchildren (Jessica, 33, Kristian, 28, & Avril, 23; a great-granddaughter River born July '09 and her brother Colten born Sept. '11
I'm actively involved in community theatre, am a passionate gardener and spend as much time as possible with my family. I also love to walk & swim (not at the same time tho'!!) We have 2 cats - Eddie (named after Eddie Shack because of the way he slides around the floor & Ollie (after Oliver Twist, as we found the little orphan at 6 weeks old, on our front porch on a freezing November morning).
