After Graduation I set out to be a successful career woman. I moved in with my cousin and set off to conquer the wold, but fate had other plans. Her husband ended up getting hurt at work,and ended up in the hospital. on the way to the hospital my cousin tells me "Wouldn't that be something if you found someone here fell in love and got married". Yeah right I wasn't even looking! Well, his roommate had been in an auto accident. He was in a Fiero and the the other guy was drunk driving a full sized pickup. Not a good combo. Well. his brother was there with him, and we were there with cousin's husband. Both of the guys were so full of meds they didn't even know we were there. So roommates brother says "hey they don't know we are even here want to go get a bite?" As they say that was the beginning of a beautiful relationship. We ended up seeing each other every weekend. He lived in CA and I was stuck in Phoenix. He would get off work Fri night and then drive all night just to spend the weekend with me. Then Easter Sunday in front of the whole church (After service) he drops to one knee and pops the question. Duh--- I said yes! I was planning a nice big wedding when he wanted me to quit my job and come see him in CA. Cousin says nope if she comes to see you she needs to have a ring on her finger first.
