Sandra's Story

Life I live in Kennewick, WA and love it here, no more rainy days :) . Remarried March, 1999, to a great guy, Keith. We are grandparents. Who would have known that being a grandparent can be such a blast. Our daughter Jenn had little girl, Reed (May, 1999), who is the first apple of our eyes and a beautiful baby boy, Elijah Robert, (September, 2002), the second apple of our eyes. Our son, Adam, currently works as a Correction Officer at Walla Walla and is now working towards becoming a Police Officer. I work as an Admin/Training Specialist for BNI which is building a waste treatment plant to clean up Hanford. Keith and I had been busy with politics but have come to realize that spending time at our home and with each other is much more fun and important. When not working in the yard, our garden, rearranging our Koi pond, working on our crafts/hobbies, we try to go boating. I have recently taken up quilting which is challenging but fun. Keith is working on woodcrafts with his toys. Keith and I were diagnosed with sugar diabetes which meant a change in our lifestyle. ting rid of stress (hence no politics) and just enjoying our life together. We have been married 8 years and love each other even more with every passing day. My life is full and very busy, but more importantly, very happy spending time with a really great, loving guy. Workplace I actually have 2 titles in my job, but Assoc. Trng Specialist does sound impressive. Too long of a story to tell, but I do many things. The main focus of my job is to schedule training classes, ready rooms for training, answer questions in regards to individuals training requirements, post classes, schedule meetings and more. I love what I am doing, meeting people, talking with people from all over the world who are working on this project. Bechtel is doing something very important in Richland, cleaning up the radioactive wastes. (and no, we do not glow in the Tri-Cities) :) The Tri-Cities is becoming known for not only Hanford, it is becoming quite the wine touring hotspot. If you like wine, this is the place to be. Not the only is the wine suppose to be good (unfortunately, I am not much of a wine drinker) but the weather is fantastic.
