Sandra's Story
I returned to Corsicana 4 1/2 years ago after my Father passed. Thanks Earl Alexander for your kindness in the ambulance when my Dad asked "Are you taking me to Corley's" it like to broke my heart to hear him say that. I recognized you in the ER and wanted to crawl under the bed I looked so bad.It made my heart glad to see where you was in life. I have two grown sons who are great and two new grandsons. I work at TYC now as a Case Manager and License Chemical Dependency Counselor. I am blessed more than I could ever imagine. Miss all my friends from East Texas and my old job. Graduated Angelina Jr. College and liked 12 hours to have gained my Bachelors from Stephen F. Austin when I had to move home. Planning to finish my bachelors and possibly be a probation officer. I'm at a cross roads right now and I would like to have someone special to love deeply and...Expand for more
spend the rest of my life with if God permits. If not I'm happy with myself and where I'm at in life. I left Corsicana when I was 16 and moved back at 48. I plan to stay here and spend quality time with my 80 year old Mother. I love to sing, write short stories, poems, music, play piano and learning the guitar. I enjoy my work even though it can be stessful and dangerous. It feels weird to return to Corsicana, be at the pharmacy and someone say there name and I recognize it and I look over and say "It can't be". I was careful on how I spoke due to my brothers telling me his wife was very jealous, sure enough here she came. I walk in Walmart and I just don't recognize anyone I know "we're getting old" or everyone has moved away. I went down a lot of long roads to find where I belonged but it was worth it all. Wishing you all the best. Sandra Williams
