Sandra Corina's Story
My maiden name is Yanez known as Sandra Yanez. (Sandy).
Now I am Sandra Corina Mota. My family still calls me Sandy .
I got married on 11-22-95 to my best friend, and amazing husband, Junior and going on 28 years..💜
We renewed our vows on 2/14/04, on (Valentine's Day), and had our wedding . He definitely made me feel like a "princess". Another Blessing .
We have 2 daughters, Mariah Yasmeen 24 years, and Monique Giselle, 18 years old. They are so beautiful and smart and a blessing from God! I love them so much! We had our reception at Edward's Mansion in Redlands, Ca. It was so beautiful: the fountains and the gardens. We went to Hawaii🏝 for our honeymoon and, the island of Ohau. My husband is my best friend and the best thing that ever happened to me ! We live in the Inland Empire , own our home and I love my dogs! We love to travel and spend time with our family.
I graduated Lincoln High School, Class of 1990. My favorite teacher in high school was Mr. Wadsworth (chemistry and student council). Best teacher ever ! He inspired me and motivated me .
I went to Franklin High School for one year but I always felt more at home at Lincoln so I ended up going back there and making this my home 🏫 school. I remember I used to go shopping to the Eagle Rock Plaza,Glendale Galleria, Downtown LA, Lincoln Heights and Highland Park and now its Amazon ofc lol who would of thought, the Ontario Mills and the Victoria Gardens in the Inland Empire.
🤗"Hola" to everyone who remembers me.
Hope everyone is doing good safe and healthy. Who would have thought back in 1990 we would go thru a pandemic 30 years later in 2020. 😷 Crazy stuff.
I love to spend time with with my family going to theme parks and my favorite place still is Disneyland . My dream came true when my husband and I flew on a helicopter ride and took a tour over the island of O'ahu in Hawaii. It was so beautiful and breathtaking. We went back in 2016 To the Big Island to celebrate my daughter's high school graduation and they loved it . We flew over some of the places where they filmed Jurassic Park and the beautiful waterfalls.
I love to watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine still my fav, The Office, One Day At A Time (Netlix new version with the Queens Rita Moreno and Justina Machado) Mr Iglesias Neflix show with Fluffy,The Big Bang Theory, (Jim parsons Love him) Sitcoms that make me laugh and stand up comedians . 😂I love to watch Gabriel Iglesias "Fluffy"and love his shows . My thing about lif...Expand for more
e is Live one day at a time! Always think positive and don't forget to laugh and smile. Learn from your mistakes and learn to move on to be a better person. Life is too short and do not take your family and loved ones for granted . What does not kill us makes us stronger. Just having faith in God thru all my struggles, trials, and challenges growing up and I had many. I am so thankful to God for all his blessings, getting me thru it all and still does. Amen. This has really helped me be the person I am today. 🙏🏻💜🙏🏻 So thankful and blessed. God never gave up on me.
Just waking up is a blessing from God. I feel like I have learned and have been thru a lot:
The Good, The Bad, and Everything In Between. Oh my.
God always had a plan for me and he was always in control.
We had a death in our family, Paul Lopez in 2006. 💔🙏🏻 May he rest in Peace and I believe he is an Ángel 😇 watching over us from Heaven. He was the strong
Rock in our family that kept us all together.. Thanks to him I am a better person! He was my husband's best friend, our best man in our wedding, my brother in law and my baby's godfather.. 🙏🏻💔👼Always tell your family you love them. Live in the moment. Tomorrow is not promised to no one. This is what I go by. Having two beautiful daughters and a great husband has definitely changed my life for the best and I feel very blessed and thankful for what I have. God was saving the best for last . 💜🥰🙏🏻
This is what i go by and teach my girls. Be proud to be a Latina ,never be ashamed of who you are and where you came from, don't dwell on the past and look towards the future. Live in the moment and just be happy and Always be yourself.
Treat people with kindness and always as we want to be treated. Be humble and Never judge people because we do not know what is going on behind closed doors. Trust in God and have faith in him thru Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. Thru him anything is possible Amen! Enjoy beautiful things that God gives us like a rainbow after the rain or a little bird singing or chirping at your doorstep. 🌈🕊
Also sometimes when I have a bad day at work, I come home to my family who can make me laugh and love eating dinner with them and talk about our day. I love to cook with my husband and try new dishes, my chef who showed me to cook new dishes and try new things.
I love plants.especially tropical plants and the pandemic has got me more into gardening .👩🌾🌺🪴.
I love taking my dogs for walks and playing with them .
My daughters inspire me and make me laugh, make me a better person. God is good. Amen! This is me. xoxoxo
