Eli's Story
Life
After High School I worked for Wayne Poultry at Winesburg. I drove truck for a while then I became the dock foreman receiving live poultry. In April of 1959 I began working at Union Hospital in Dover, OH. I worked as an Orderly for 2 years. I then transferred to the Laundry and was Supervisor there for 27 Years. After that I Tranferred to the Housekeeping Dept. I managed it for 9 years. I then transferred to theSecurity Dept where I was Lt. in charge. I assumed that position until I retired. onic Lodge in 1977. I was Master in 1981. I also joined Eastern Star and was Worthy Patron 4 times. I presently hold a seat in both lodges. I have 2 children. A daughter living in Charleston WV and is a Paraleagel. My son lives in New Phila., OH. He is a supervisor at his work. I have 5 grandchildren.
I have been very busy since retirement doing what I want to do and when I do it. It has been nice. If you visit my profile send me an email. By the way that name Border behind my name was my wifes maiden name.
