Sandy's Story
Life
I lived in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca from 1984 to 2006. I worked at Xerox for 20 years, and my husband Luis worked in aerospace for 28 years. We raised two daughters Luisa and Aurora. I was laid off from Xerox in the Fall of 2004. I was so happy to receive a very nice package. Luis and I had been talking about retiring. Then he became ill. motheraphy sessions. He passed away in March 2006 from stomach cancer. That really rocked my world! I sold out of Ca and moved to a small town in Arkansas where my mother resides. Since then my two daughters have moved there, too. I have two grand daughters, Gueneviere Monet Nelson (3) and Memphis Rose (almost 1). They are the light of my life. I have adjusted to life without Luis, but I will always miss him.
