Sandra's Story
I lived in Paris for 2 years and then moved to England where I have been more or less ever since. I teach French literature and translation at Cambridge University and I started doing literary translation about 3 years ago. can Award Ceremony at Lincoln Center in NY in May 2007. It was amazing. I have translated 5 more works by the same author and have contracts for another 6 novels.
My husband is English and our son is 19 and studying English at Newcastle University in the north of England.
I still keep in touch with a few friends from SVHS and consider myself extremely fortunate in all ways.
