Sandy's Story
After attending URI for my Bachelor's Degree and then University of Vermont for my Master's degree, I worked in public schools for many years. My first position was in Manchester, Vermont. Then after 8 years, I moved to Houston, Texas, married a Texan and worked as a Speech/Language Pathologist mostly in public schools. I have no children--only cats and dogs! (Currently down to a healthy 15 year old miniature schnauzer) My husband passed away in 2013 and I remarried - a Vermonter, who I met in Houston! We've been married for a 2 and a ha...Expand for more
lf years. We sold our homes and most of our possessions in the summer of 2017 and have been living in a wonderful 45’ Class A motor home traveling the United States. Our objective is to visit many National Parks, friends and family, while looking for a place to settle down. Who knows where we'll end up! We are both Christians and have been trusting in the Lord for direction and protection!
We’ve just settled on living in Ocala, Florida. We’re building a house in Stone Creek, a Del Webb golf community and will be moving in October, 2019.
