After Birdgewater-Raritan HS East, I graduated from Trenton State College with a B.A. in Advertising Art and a Minor in Marketing.
I then went on to complete a Master's Degree in Communications at Cornell University specializing in Communications in developing countries.

always worked in art-related fields. In Ithaca, NY, I freelanced at local ad agencies and was an teacher assistant at Cornell U. From 1984 - 1991, I was a graphic designer at AT&T Bell Laboratories in NJ. Since relocating to Washington State I am self-employed, do freelance design work and volunteer in art-related areas. We live near Seattle on Mercer Island.
