Sandy's Story

After graduating I worked full time and eventually went back to school. I graduated with a 4.0 and earned my associates degree (yes, there is a brain in there somewhere!) I was a medical assistant for over 20 years, working in all different fields - OB/GYN, pediatrics, ophthalmology, internal medicine, family practice, working with surgeons and also nurse practi...Expand for more
tioners. I married a policeman (shock!) and , after having several miscarriages, had a beautiful baby boy at the ripe old age of 39! When he started school I gave up my medical career and started working in the school system to be with him as much as possible. I think the biggest surprise of my life is how much I enjoy being settled down and having a family!!!
