Sandy's Story
I started to attend college at the City College of San Francisco. College wasn't my thing and so I moved back home. I started dating my husband Daland after I left Chick-fil-A to Emporium Capwell. I had known Daland from working at Chick-fil-A and from attending CCD together at Holy Spirit since we were 6 years old.
We were married on November 8, 1986. Our first home was in Jacksonville, AK as Daland had joined the Air Force and that was his first assignment. Other assignments were Nellis AFB, in North Las Vegas, NV, back home to Travis AFB -then to Incirlik AFB in Incirlik, Turkey. We then made one final stop back to Travis AFB.
In January of 1999 Daland left the Air Force - just shy of 13 years in and we moved to Redmond, WA.
We both have been working for Microsoft for a little over 12 years. I am currently a Business Administrator for the Windows Phone Division and Daland is a Test Manager in the Games Test Or...Expand for more

We have three wonderful kids. Our oldest Anastacia is a graduate of University of Washington (go Huskies) and now attends the Washington State University - College of Veterinary Medicine in Pullman, WA. She is currently engaged to Timonthy Martin.
Our son Dalrek is a recent graduate from the University of Washington and is pursuing a career in character development and storyboarding. His ultimate goal is to work at Pixar.
Our youngest Aralyn is stating her second hear at Bellevue College.
We have three miniature Dachshunds, Tucker, Merrilee and Tinkerbell - all of who reflect a personalilty to match each of our kids
Daland and I celebrated our 20th and 25th Wedding Anniversaries at Walt Disney World in Florida.
We currently enjoy taking small getaways for the weekend with each other. I never thought my life would be this great! I am so happy and can't wait to see what the next half of my life brings me.
