Sandy's Story
Life
I graduated from Wayne State in 1984, taught sociology part time for Wayne and a couple of community colleges for a few years, then in 1989 I started working at the Reuther Library at Wayne State (really an archives), until 1998. I now work at home as a freelance archivist (no, not an anarchist, archeaologist or architect - an archivist - sort through and arrange documents, newsletters, etc. generated by an organization or individual). April 1999. Now living in Grosse Pointe Woods, and recently separated. In 2002 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, went through chemo, mastectomy, and radiation, and a year later reconstruction. Am now cancer free. Life has been busy and continues to be so. From 1978-1982 I was into skydiving at Marine City Airport and loved every minute of it. Have done various hobbies over the years, continued to sew, did some basketweaving, like to garden, bake, cook. Recently started going to the gym.
