Sandy's Story
After graduating from Surrattsville, I went to work for CVS,(Peoples Drug) in the Accounts Payable division TYPING, yes, I said Typing the checks out on a typewriter to all the companies who supplied the People's Stores, and to the workers of People's!! In 1975, I married my High School Sweetheart, Steve Oursler. We lived in his house where he grew up on Surratts Road, Clinton until 1999, We moved to St. Mary's County and bought a wonderful place on the St. Mary's River. (My LifeLong Dream). , 27. I have 2 grandchildren, Stevie III and Raegan and another granddaughter arriving sometime in June of this year. My family, husband, children, son and daughter in laws and my grandchildren have made my life fuller than I ever expected one person to have. Thank God for them!!! Some things never change, my husband Steve still fishes, makes all his own lures and is one of the best on the bay! I still see some friends from High school and enjoy catching up with them.
