Sandy's Story
After BC, I moved to Massachusetts-loved the ocean. Worked, then moved back to MI to go to college. Majored in partying: got married, raised a family, went back to college. Had a 3.80 GPA in law, but didn't like it. After my kids were raised, I became a truck driver (Over the road), and happily divorced. I tell people I raised two kids and divorced the other one.
Drove solo over the road for a few years, then met and married a driver from Smyrna, DE (Mike). We take time to smell the roses where ever we might have a few days.
After having several mis-diagnosed heart attacks, I had a quadruple bypass in May, 2006, and found out my heart had been bad all my life (explains a lot). Doing very well now...Expand for more
, and back to driving OTR, but there will always be irrepairable damage. Can't unload trucks any more, and it breaks my heart LOL.
I have a daughter and son, and two grandchildren. We lost the first grandchild when he was 7 weeks old.
My husband and I are active in Messiah Lutheran church (Poseyville and Gordonville Rds corner). Well, as active as we can be when we're only home two days a month.
I love the outdoors, and live in the middle of 16 acres of woods. My husband and son built me a wigwam, so that I can go out and enjoy campfires in the winter. Doctor's orders because of the heart thing.
I'D LIKE TO SEE A CLASS RE-UNION SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN A BAR (POT LUCK AT SANFORD LAKE?? EMERSON PARK?)
