Sandra's Story

March 9, 2020 Sitting in high school I could not even imagine what the year 2000 would be like and where I would be. I have been a widow since 2000. Had a couple brief relationships but not lasting. I would love to have a companion to do things with but being in introvert and not leaving my apartment makes that hard. No more online dating for me. Now that the Wedgwood has been reopened I am hoping to move back there by the end of the year. I loved living there where I could play cards, dominoes, watch movies with friends and have lunch in the restaurant. Contact me if you remember me and lets compare notes on what we have been up to. February 3, 2019 Time marches on. Not much has changed. I am still an introvert and dont go out much. I have had some health issues over the past two years, but then at 70 what do we expect. Would love to hear from my fellow classmates and see what you are doing. I did finally make it to the Grand Canyon and to Las Vegas. . July 30, 2016 Update, due to a fire at the Wedgwood I moved to another senior citizen. I am enjoy my senior years and hope to do a little traveling in the near future. I am still single and hope to one day have a significant other in my life, but it will happen when it happens. I am looking forward to the reunion and hope to get to see everyone there in October. t now. I live in a senior apartment community and love my apartment. I was in the fire at the Wedgwood on December 28, 2014 on the 10 floor. Looking back I know that the building was full of mold and it affected my asthma and allergies yet I probably never would have moved. The Wedgwood had so much to offer. I moved from a studio apartment to a 2 bedroom apartment. I love my new apartment. My lady friends from the class of '66 came the first weekend after I moved in and brought me things to start over. One filled my pantry. They helped me to start over and I am so grateful. I did not get my things out of the Wedgwood until May 2015 and of course by then you have replace so many things. I am retired and have been a widow since 2000. I enjoy playing Miramagia and The Tribez on the computer. I also love to sew and work on needlecrafts. I have been on facebook since 2007 so it has changed a lot. I have been married 3 times, in 3 long term relationships and currently single. My last marriage ended when my spouse passed away on 9/11/2000 and my last relationship ended 3/15/2014 when he passed away at BAMC. It would be nice to find that special someone but since I hardlyl ever leave my apartment that would mean I would have to trip over him in a parking lot somewhere. Haha. I hope all my fellow classmates have lived a good life and are happy where they are at. Feel free to contact me. Sandy
