David's Story

Life Hello All, Wow has it really been 25 years.Doesn,t seem like that long but then that sounds like something my parents would say. I guess we are older and I hope wiser now. I have had a great time with my "life-after" RHS.Been married 3 times now and well you know the saying "Third times the charm"? It fits for my life now. Guess it takes some of us a little longer to finally figure out what we are looking for out of life. Sure did for my first two wives! LOL Just kidding. I have been married to my wife Sandy for almost ten years now(Dec. 29) and we are having a ball with the life we have made for each other. We love to travel the world together ( O.K. just the Caribbean part of the world). We are both avid SCUBA divers and have made over 50 dives together. In fact I propossed to her 70 feet under water at a Resort in the Bahamas and have been diving as much as our life permits every since. I have (maybe read had?) a great job with Delta Airlines building airplane engines for just over 15 years now. I joined the Air Force right out of High school. I was stationed in Las Vegas for the entire 4 years. Tough place for a kid of 17...Expand for more
to grow up hugh? Moved back to Ga. (there was never any doubt) and got a job at Lockheed in Marietta building airplanes for the Air Force. I had a chance to work as a contract mechanic at Boeing Aircraft in Seattle Wa. and ended up staying up there for 6 months. But once again mother Georgia called me home and I have been here every since. I now live in McDonough with my wife and our 2 sons Craig (who just turned 16 and knows it all just like we did at that age ) and Casey who is 7 and has all the energy that I've somehow missplaced over the last few years. We live on a lake and when we are not diving and traveling we love to fish even if the fish aren't biting. I also have a decent woodshop in my basement and am trying to remember all that I learned from Coach Freeman's woodshop class just to pass the time away. I've been trying to collect and restore a few (3 now ) old Pinball machines probably just to hold on to some of the good old times before X-Box and PS whatever there up to. I'd love to hear from anyone who remembers me and would like to chat sometime about old times that I've tried to fight off father time not to forget.
