Sandy's Story
I think I had friends in high school from all types - jocks, popular kids, the fringe type, musical, etc. etc!
After high school, I did the business college thing, moved to Dallas for a bit then came back to Corpus and found "Mr. Right" who happened to be a Navy student going through flight training in Corpus, we married and moved away to his new duty station in San Diego, CA. After his Navy duty ended, we moved to Sterling Heights, MI where he had a job with General Motors and we've been here for 38+ years.
We have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls. Our 2nd child and 2nd so...Expand for more
n is adopted from Korea. All 4 are college graduates and living successful lives. All of the children are out of the house, living on their own. 2 are married and have given us 3 beautiful granddaughters ages 12, 10 and 3. As of now, they are the joy of our lives.
Bob and I are both retired now and we do "whatever we want" for the most part. Bob is very involved in church, his car club (kit cars)model trains and the "girls". I enjoy the "girls", stained glass, reading and we both really love traveling, especially to Hawaii.
