Welcome to my story. It has been so long since I left Raymondville, but I have no regrets. I now live and work in Weslaco, Texas where I work for Weslaco ISD as a kindergarten teacher. I have one daughter who is in college in Florida. My parents and sister moved out of Raymondville when my husband passed away and built a house next to mine. Unfortunately my father passed away after four months in his new house. I am so happy to be living here because for me there was nothing to keep me in Raymondville...Expand for more
. I have said it once and I will say it again, there is life outside of Willacy County. Unfortunately some of my former classmates still live there. If you are happy there, good for you. For me there is nothing to do in that godforsaken town. Nothing has changed. To me the town is dead and it will never prosper. Can you read between the lines?
