Sara's Story

I went to Oberlin College after high school and majored in music. After school l moved to Anchorage, played with their symphony and Opera orchestras, and eventually started working in customer service with United Airlines. That job took me to Denver, back again to Anchorage, & Washington DC (Dulles Airport). I had a daughter and stayed home...Expand for more
with her. By then my husband transferred to Reno so we lived there for about 7 years and a 15 months in Gig Harbor, Washington. Then when Amy was 8 l went back to United. There weren't openings in Reno so we moved to the Dayton Ohio area. I have been here almost 13 years. Don't work for the airline anymore but still play in orchestras.
