Sara's Story
Life
After CHHS, I went on to graduate from JMU with a degree in English, and minors in Psychology and Secondary Ed. I ended up teaching seventh grade English in Middlesex County.
I married Mike Grube (CHHS '87) in 1996, and we had our first child, Ryan, in May 1999. When I learned I was pregnant with Molly the following year, I decided to stop teaching for a while. We moved to Powhatan from...Expand for more
2001-2004, and then we came full circle and went back to Chesterfield, close to Clover Hill.
I went back to teaching in 2004 and taught ninth grade English at Manchester High School. When Cosby High School opened in 2006, I began teaching there (also ninth grade English), and I am still there. I am also taking graduate classes at Longwood towards a masters degree in school library media.
