Life I live in the Chicagoland area now with my husband Matt and my daughter Avery and son Charlie. I am a stay-at-home mom/freelance writer and editor. College I graduated from Iowa State University in December 1998. I was a journalism major with an emphasis on visual communications, although I ended up in magazines (much more fun!). husband, a mechanical engineering graduate, at Iowa State. Workplace I worked at a trade press publishing company for almost 6 years after graduating from Iowa State. I was editor of a business magazine for cosmetics and personal care when I left to be a stay-at-home mom. I now do some freelance writing/editing for the company and on my own.
