Sara's Story

Life Let's see...In '96 got a B.S. in molecular and cellular biology from U of A and traveled in Central America for a few months. Then, oddly enough, began my career as a person who talks to apes. tans - and one special orang, Chantek, who uses American Sign Language (ASL). Then, I moved to San Francisco and worked with Koko, the gorilla who uses ASL. Now, I'm roaming the West in my 'covered wagon' studying native medicinal plants and permaculture - and preparing for a trip to Borneo next summer to study/rehabilitate wild orangutans. Certainly, other ups and downs along the way - but that's been the jist of things. Drop me a line!
