Sara's Story

Life Life is good in the Valley of the Sun. I miss my old friends but not the snow, the cold, or the clouds. I have lived in AZ for almost 10 years and love big city life and working at the second largest university in the country. Phoenix is growing like mad and changing quickly--a very fun place to live if you like excitement and lots of opportunity. Though we are not even a thousand miles from Longmont, it is like living on another planet here. Come visit! School Too many crazy memories for this small space! I just want to send out a "hello" to those I was crazy with! My most inspiring teachers were Patti Stricklin and Jon Larson--they believed in me and told me so enough times that it stuck. Thank you both! Looking back, I am grateful to have had my Dad (LeRoy Watts, LHS...Expand for more
Athletic Director until he retired in the early '90's) with me at LHS each day: he is still my bedrock of strength but no longer tells me "you cannot wear that to school!" Thank you and I love you, Dad! The best memory of all was speaking at the Class of '88 Graduation--looking out at all of you and seeing our futures ready to unfold. Now, almost 20 years later, I hope to hear from any and all of you, and I hope my words find you well, loved, and as happy as this crazy world allows. Workplace I work at Arizona State University in beautiful downtown Tempe Arizona. This is my 6th year here and I could not be happier. Well, I haven't gone to law school yet, and still plan to in the next 2-3 years, but aside from that one unfulfilled aspiration, I love it here! SUN DEVILS RULE!!!
