Upon graduating from Portage Central I went off to Hope College. I attended Hope from 1997-2001 where I received a degree in Special Education. ed to Muskegon that fall. I received a new job at Muskegon Heights Elementary. We were married on Feb. 8, 2003 at Dimnent Chapel, Hope College. Our next blessing came September 22, 2005 when our daughter, Emily, was born. Since her birth we've moved to Iowa City for new jobs and were blessed with a second daughter, Julie Anne!
