Sarah's Story
Life
My older sister got married when I was in high school and now she has 2 kids. So I am now an aunt. My dad pasted away my second year of college. Which has been hard. I mean my younger brother and siser (Meghan and Robby) were still at East. My mom is now dating. The guy I dated all through high school that went to Lutheran and I broke up after I started college. I went away to college that fall aftger graduating. I moved to Chicago for school. I had a wonderful time there. I was going to be a teacher but changed my major to social work and I am also going to get married in 2008 and I will be a stepmom then too.
College
I went to Concordia University right after high school and I started out in the Education Program. I wanted to be a History teacher but I changed my major my last year of college and studied to be a Social Worker instead. College was been fun. Well p...Expand for more
arts of it. I have had problems with the jerks of guys on this campus. They like to say one thing and do another so I try to not date them. I have also had some weird roommates. I have had some that have gone all year without taking to me. I have learned that Seven Eleven is a great place to go to in the middle of the night for sugar and coffee if you are trying to pull an all nighter to get a paper done for a class.
Workplace
I am still working on the place I worked at during high school but now that is a part time job since I just got a full time job at Trinity Day Care. It is not totally using my social work skills but it is close. I am also using my education skills so that is ok. I like it so far. So this might become a place I stay at for a few years. I am now in the process of trying to decide when I am going to leave the place I have been at for almost 8 years.
