Sarah's Story
Life
When I graduated from Western Hills I went to Tarrant County College for two years. I earned an AA and then transfered to UTA where I earned a BA in History with a minor in French. After I graduated I continued working at Foleys until November 2003. That was almost a year ago and I've had two jobs since then, but I'm looking for a new career at this point. I am single, and I don't have any kids. But I do have 5 lizards.
School
I attended Western Hills from 1992-1995. My little sister goes there now.
College
I went to UTA and majored in History. My favorite professor was Dr. Kyle and I'm glad...Expand for more
to hear that he is now Chair of the history department.
Workplace
One of the questions this survey asked me was "what would you do if you could take a month off of work?" Over the past year I've only worked for 5 months and while its nice to be able to sleep in, do historical research (my hobby), and not have to worry about "work" -- it can also be extremely stressful since there are no jobs. At least there aren't any that pay worth a darn. There are thousands of people right here in Fort Worth that don't have a job. Most of them are married and have kids which is even more scary than my situation.
