Sarah's Story
Life
Well, I'm Sarah Hite now. Shawn and I were married in 2003. We have two huskies named Kali and Kenai plus 3 sugar gliders: Bella, Ratchet, and Beaker.
After high school, I went to Chico State with about 9 others from our class. I got a degree in Exercise Physiology and started my own business as a personal trainer in Sacramento. Then I got the bug to leave California...
So I joined the US Coast Guard. That landed me in Kodiak, Alaska for 4 years (...Expand for more
with my final summer in Valdez). I met Shawn during a Lion's Club convention in Tok, AK. After my active duty enlistment ended we moved to Delta Junction, Alaska. After Delta we moved to Texas for a short while so I could support the Coast Guard (I'm a reservist now) during Operation Iraqi Freedom...until Shawn got a job offer in New Mexico we couldn't pass up. So now I'm doing my personal training business once again. Life is good!
