Sarah's Story
Life
I was a stay at home Mother until my 2 children were in High School. I graduated from Wright State University with a BA in Social Work the same time my son graduated from Fairborn High School (1998). I graduated in 1999 with my MSW from the University of Cincinnati the same year my daughter graduated from Fairborn High School.
I am now an LISW (Licensed Independent Social Worker working at a non-profit organization in Dayton, OH. My children have graduated from University of Cincinnati in Areospace Engineering (Larry) and Laura graduated from University of Mass. (Amhurst) in Exercise Science and Washington University, St. Louis with a Dr of Physical Therapy.
My husband, Bruce, and I will be celebrating our 31tst anniversary in...Expand for more
August 2009. Bruce is now an ordained Lutheran minister with his own congregation located in Enon, OH.
We have an Irish Setter and 2 cats.
Life is very blessed. Prayers have been answered and our son is a miracle after suffering enchephalitis 2x in his early years (now an areospace engineer!) I am very proud of my family's accomplishments.
Now on to the next stage of our lives. Larry is getting married in CO 24 Nov 09 and Laura is engaged-no date set as yet. Looking forward to being grandparents some day and love being empty nesters.
My mother died December 16th, 2008 and I was blest to be her caregiver for her last 6 weeks of her life. Our home of 51 years on Morgan Ave. is being sold 17 Jul 09. No more ties to the area.
