Life
I'm living a life I never expected to growing up in NM. I have been married for 16 years to Walter, a Tech graduate from Guatemala who became a US citizen a couple of years ago. He works on oil rigs for Halliburton. We have two beautiful, healthy and smart girls, Tawny and Andrea. They get straight A's and rock the softball field, both playing AllStars. Since high school, I lived in Illinois for 8 months, Louisiana for four years, and Kingwood, TX for the past six years. oring in English and Anthropology. Since we moved to Kingwood, a suburb of Houston, I have worked off and on as a police reporter, full-time mom, and for the past year, as an assistant editor for two magazines, Pen World and InSync. We don't see friends and family as much as we like but this is a great place to raise children. We are very lucky. I am also sister to Senta Gallegos and auntie to Frankie, Bo and Baby Aiyana. For those of you don't know, Frankie is 14 and has been battling bone cancer for 7 years. He had half his leg amputated in 2000 and had another major surgery in 2006. They still live in Socorro.
