Sarah's Story

Sure didn't make a fortune after school. I liked to read and learn, but never knew the "then what". College never taught me what an engineer did, so now I can analyse what's wrong with my car, but clueless on how to fix it. I can draw a screw but only figured out the difference between wood and metal ones recently. At least I test well. Apparently my passion was always to sit alone in a room and create stuff. I don't know if that was because the mother unit tormented me if I came out or because that's what I wanted. I don't know if I had no friends until junior high because I was used to being alone or because I was odd. I realize now that I had absolutely no clue on interpersonal relationships or fashion, and I wore my headgear to get it over with quicker. I also think I was probably the smelly kid. I don't think I ever washed that stupid ugly gym uniform. Sure as hell wasn't going to shower with strangers....At the end of the year I cleaned out my locker and found lunches I had forgotten about. I guess I got smacked upside the head so often I couldn't smell any of that. Still can't. Hi ho. I did bring pre...Expand for more
ying mantises to school to feed at lunch, but I also brought in a sheep. And I never bit anyone's ear off, unlike some people we know. Once I started screwing and having cocktails I had a lot of friends...though they weren't really. And the older I get the more fatiguing it is to put up with other people's BS. Especially if they are still drinking. Especially if they are straight men. So it's back to sitting in my room alone, reading and making stuff. At least nobody is yelling and hitting me. It's sad that that is all I wanted and it took so long to find. If after all that you want to see what the crazy loner is creating, I have an art site out there, but now it's mostly beekeeping that fascinates me, and I post on that.. No manifestos. I refuse to give these people any money, so I can't see who signed the guest book. If I ever hurt you, I'm sorry. If you ever hurt me, I hope you're sorry too. There are some people I remember fondly, or wish I had gotten to know, and some people I could keep on ignoring. And mostly just a lot of people who still think I'm invisible. What do you know! It is a manifesto!
