hope you guys remember me as friendly, funny, nice, well mannered (most of the time), smart, strived to excel, a true Razorback fan, and a rep for being direct, honest and normally quite out spoken,,,,,,

My journey has been career driven, established a casting, modeling and acting agency. Located downtown LR - established in '84. Have worked on dozens of films - mostly in AR, TN, MS. LA. Some of you may remember Sing Blade with Billy Bob Thornton....yup, that was a breakthrough show for both Billy and me.
After 20 years of 24/7 dedication to my career, I took a leap of faith and left my home of 17 yrs inn Hllcrest - moved to Scott (15 mi from airport). Dream come true. I was finally forced to take some time for myself - had a tad of stage 3 cancer. All is well - they gave me so so so big doses of 2 types chemo, Total success - with exception of fairly intense side effects from all the drugs. But hey - I am here and still kicking - pretty hard kicks at that!
My farm has two 100 yr old pecan groves - pastures, a wonderful 1935 farm house totally refurbished, barn, guest house etc. I have three huge adopted "sons". King is a registered Paint and very large horse - like 16hands. Dollar is a registered "Bay" who happens to come from really suer bloodlines (I have to confess, Dollar and i have a special bond, then we have my Alpha Mixed breed. Jack is a smaller size, dappled grey - no papers, possibly some Mustang due to his Roman Nose....
Also have numerous rescued Dogs and Cats.....It is quite a fiasco around here at times! Many adventures.
I was conducted into the AR Entertainers Hall Of Fame and serve on the Little rRock Film Commission Advisory Board, as well as being a very active lobbyist for the AR film commission and the pursuit of incentive legislation to draw more filming to the "Natural State". ng legislative session will be the first of three where I was not solely heading up the push for legislation. Hopefully my time and effort the last six year towards making this happen will come to fruition this next session. Sure hope so, I dont care so much for having to put on heels and hose to go rub elbows with our elected officials each session!!!!!
I have traveled to Alaska, Hawaii, numerous CA locations, most all southern states for work, and have a favorite Working Dude Ranch close to Cody WY which I frequent - have made 13 trips to this slice of heaven called 7D ranch since 1991.
I am still outspoken, crazy as a loon, successful business owner, and true friend.
I aspire to volunteer time and effort to the National Association for Handicapped Riders. I am researching grants in order to propose to the assn. that we produce a series of videos about "Hippo Therapy" and all of it's amazing benefits to those handicapped in various ways. These clinics often fail due to funding. I feel that with more public awareness of this type of therapy, the clinic owners could benefit from new and additional charity contributions as well as a video tool to be used in community presentations about the local clinics and their success stories. Look up Hippo Therapy on google - read some of the amazing stories. I feel that with my knowledge of production coupled with my love and knowledge of horses (who were my mental therapy during cancer) We could generate PSA's to be made available to the individual clinics TV market areas and could tailor 2-3 promotional videos to be used in various capacities. In fact, speech path professionals are beginning to utilize Hippp Therapy for an additional form of therapy. Nuff said about all that - as you can tell, I am very passionate about wanting to help others help others with some support/educational info concerning this therapy. One of the premier clinics in the USA is right here in AR - Rogers. There is another class act clinic between Memphis and Nashville.
Nuff said.n Time to feed and spray the horses and get ready for the ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS FOOTBALL GAME TONIGHT!
