Life
Howdy from Texas. Yes, after over 16 years in Texas I say "y'all "and "fixen". I am a Functional Analyst II (yes, I know it is now clear what I do) at the University of Houston-Clear Lake,a university with a wildlife reserve (with deer, coyotes, cougars, spiders, and alligators). I am finally working on my thesis after five years of working on that Humanities MA, and I need more self-discipline. Wish it came in a bottle.
I got married in 2006, and my husband is trying to become a professional golfer. He has a website mypgaquest.com. He's been sick this week (2008 New Years), so he has not written much. I hope you would take the time to support his dream to make the PGA tour.

School
Just glad it is over, that I don't have to go back, and that I didn't get to do what I wanted--I think ;) I moved a twice, so I went to three high schools. Sometimes I wish I had gotten to know anybody real well, but most of the time, I think, if I hadn't moved there, well I wouldn't have met Robin and Gary or Mikey and Wendy or Christie and Amy--after high school I went for an interview requesting a reference that wasn't a relative and I had known more than five years. I realized in my whole life, I've never known anyone that wasn't my sibling or parent, really known them for five years. Maybe that is why people get married, they just want that opportunity, a promise, to really know someone.
