Sarah's Story
Life
I graduated from Manitou Elem in 1985 along with Charles Reeder, Jason Hanes and Mike Zellmer. I attended SE Jr. High in Altus, Oklahoma for my 9th grade year then moved back to Manitou where I attended Frederick High School for the first half of my Sophomore year. I moved to Washington State at the age of 15 and attended Peninsula High School the remainder of the year. The following summer I met Doug, my first husband and we were married during my Jr. year of high school. We then moved to Spanaway, Washington where I went to school at Bethel High School my Sr. year. I dropped out of high school just 3 months prior to graduation because I was pregnant with my son Justin. The following year I got my GED at Clover Park Tech College. I currently live in Washington State. I love it here. I am just about an hour outside of Seattle in a town of about 10,000. It is small enough that crime is low yet big enough that we have a Walmart and grocery stores.

rriage only lasted 2 years and I have a wonderful 19 year old son from that marriage. My second marriage lasted 13 years and I have a daughter that is 15 from that marriage. I am also a foster parent I am in a relationship with Jeff, the love of my life. We have had our issues but we are great together and I love him dearly. I am focused on my children and school. I am currently attending college majoring in pre-law and hope to eventually go on to law school and become an attorney.
I have been in contact with several friends from Manitou over the years. Jack Goldman, Randy Goldman, Chat Dean, Billy Bray, Cheri Brem, Larry Teague, Debbie Apoka, Jay Apoka and I am still friends with Charles Reeder and his wife of 14 years. I have also been in contact with my 7th and 8th grade teacher Mr. Hazel. I made some wonderful friends in OK, some of which are still my best friends after 23 years!!! Debbie Apoka (LeJeune now), I will always love you girl. 23 years and 2000 miles apart but you are still my bestie!
