Sasha's Story

Life Moved to Oregon in 1992. Met my husband Troy in Portland while attending OSU and he was stationed at Ft.Lewis, WA (Army). Married in 1995 and moved to Texas, then SLC Utah where our fraternal twin boys (Aiden & Logan) were born in 2002. Since then, my husband switched to the AF which took us to Virginia and now we're stationed at Lakenheath AFB in England. Boys are now in kindergarten and I'm working on my MBA through Univ.of Phoenix online. College Went to Portland State Univ. for a couple years then moved to Corvallis to attend Oregon State University. Lived in the dorms for over a year and had the time of my life. Then onto my own apartment. Met lots of amazing people who are still close friends. Finished my Bachelors in Business Management with Park College while stationed in Texas. ith UofP--will be done Feb 2008. Workplace Worked primarily in Health Care as Bus.Office Director, Patient Accounts Mgr.etc in hospitals and nursing homes/retirement communities. Since moving to England, decided to stay at home to be able to take the kids to swimming and after-school sports etc. Also nice to be able to travel whenever my husband's schedule allows. Will probably stay at home another year or so till the boys are older. It's nice not having to work! Military Husband joined Army in 1990 then moved to Air Force in 2002. Since we've been married he's been to Saudi twice, to Korea for a year, and just recently returned from Afghanistan. Although the deployments are hard, I love being a military wife. Love the closeness of the communities we live in, all the friends we meet, and the traveling. Love moving every few years to new places.
