Schelly's Story
Life
I guess this year will be 27 years since graduation. WOW! I have come full circle. We recently moved back in to my mom's old house. The exact one I grew up in. My two children are now attending Berkner High School My son Jake is a Junior in the Mighty Ram Band. He also plays Bass Clarinet, just like I did. My daughter Lorris is a Freshman and plays the flute. The memories get overwhelming sometimes! My husband and I volunteer heavily during marching season and we have a blast doing it! loving it! It is just a good a district to work for as it was to go to as a student. I couldn't be happier! I teach special education, developmental programs and have been in this field for almost 10 years. It's definitely my calling. I'm still married to Ben, it's been 20 years now and looking forward to as many as we can get! My daughter wants to stay here and graduate from Berkner too, so I guess we'll be staying put for at least a little while~
