Life When I graduated from Poly Hs in June,1988, I did not know in what direction I wanted to go. I knew that I did not want to go to College full time (big mistake) so I started training to drive School Buses in July, of that year. I got my School Bus License in August, 1988 and started driving the little rug rats by September when school started back. I drove for Laidlaw for 11 years before I decided to drive for L.A.U.S.D. I have now been driving for them for 7 1/2 years. I have been a School Bus Driver the same amount of years I have been out of High School. I had 1 son 2 years after I got out of high school and my 2nd son 3yrs after the first. Shortly after my 2nd son was born I became a single mother. Being single and a mom is a feit within itself, but I have no regrets. Being single I felt it was best to leave the Valley,so I moved to Palmdale in 1994.
