Tell my story here? OK, here goes. First installment: Really got interesting, to us at least, starting in 2008, when the CFSEAL (Center For Support Education Advocacy and Leadership) was incorporated for profit, using the family property at 40360 Grewingk Circle (1993-present) as the base. Graduation had finally, completely happened- wait, wait, was deferred to 2013 by events of 2009=it only took 42 (?) years to close the deal on an AAS (not in BEING an ASS, as some of you may have thought) degree, and enrollment in four year degree program. No good deed goes unpunished? See 2009... Some may remember the school club SFRC (Students For Responsible Change) that mostly helped give stdent focus for the development of Black Culture Week. It was a wake up call for me personally, as just having Ron Sloan (RIP) as locker mate at Main Jr. High was only the beginning! Turns out I was pretty clueless, even stupid, about racial cultural differences ,so deferred to Thomas Black to carry the ball to get the job done. Seems my Industrial Arts project of sharing Peace Drugs in our community was noticed by the police, and they eventually ran me out of town to University of Montana, Missoula, Fall of 1971-thank you Thomas ,and others, for giving a concrete reason for SFRC to exist for a coupla years anyway! If/when I can get pictures up of my grand daughter Iso, the irony will be obvious: the DNA of the Johnson family took over completely. The Wheat's Irish/Swedish/English, and Bartling's German influence, was completely overwhelmed. Who knew? Well, God did, however it is somehow perfectly completing that circle of life.
