Scott's Story
Hi, and thanks for taking the time to check-up on me.
I've been living in the Phoenix/AZ area since 1983 after graduating from UCLA.. I was married for 8 years starting in my late 20's and have a GREAT 24 year old son who I love spending my time with. So far, he's better behaved then I was at his age so I consider myself very lucky.
I don't think I've changed much since my days at Gunn, except now I run/hike and don't swim much anymore (my pool is too short). My idea of time in a pool now is being in the water up to my neck holding a cold drink to escape the 110 degree heat.
I very much enjoy life in Arizona.. I can drive 1 hour and be on a nice lake in my boat or be on some remote dirt/rock trail in my truck in the pristine desert.. Not much good fishing here but my father has a ranch up in Montana which has great fly fishing rivers. I enjoy long weekends up there just relaxing and being in a remote place with no traffic and pressures of life.

think some of you understand the downsides of dating these days.
Career wise I've been busy.. I joined Intel after college and stayed with them for 15 years. I was lucky enough to enjoy the semiconductor growth of the 80's/90's. I left in 1998 to join a new high tech start-up with great promise of going public.. so much for good promises. I worked for that company for 8 years and just recently joined a related company, managing their Asia Business Operations and Licensing activies. I do get sick of spending so much time on airplanes, and even worse, spending time in hotels. But I will admit that I love when I get to visit new places for the first time so the job has advantages.
I hope all of you I I was lucky enough to meet and had the opportunity to spend time with at Gunn are doing well.. In hindsight, those were some great years with some great friends, and many great memories. My one regret is that I didn't get to know more of the people at Gunn. That's one thing I'd do differently if I could redo high school.
