Scott's Story
I would like to start with an apology. The time I had spent in High school I was a grade "A" a-hole. I had used and hurt quite a few people. I carry these regrets to this day. I ask myself if I would do it again if I knew then what I know now and the answer is an emphatic no. I would have actually taken the time to learn who the person was and actually done something meaningful. I then ask myself if I had learned from these mistakes and I can say that I have. I had cheated on someone back then but vowed never to do that again... and have kept that even through a dysfunctional marriage. On occasion I have caught my eldest son acting condescending toward his girlfriend and have read him the riot act. I have taught my daught...Expand for more
er the things a boy will say or do and how juvenile we can be. I hope she won't give into pressure no matter how great it may be. I try to instill the moral compass and the heavy thought that we must live with the choices we all make and the effects they may have on others.
I can not change the past and I let the grossly immature things I did haunt me. I remember the names and hope life has treated you better then I had. I don't ask for forgiveness for I don't ask of it from myself. If there is a measure of consolation in knowing... there is karma and it can really kick you in the shorts. I did have a life changing incident. Today I respect all life as having meaning and purpose.
