Scott's Story
My Adopted name was Goad
1962 my mom married Ronald & I was given his last name I've since changed back to my birth name. In 1974 my younger brother, sister & I were put on a small plane & a few hours later we landed in Richland what a change had I stayed on the west side of the cascades I would have graduated from Inglemoore high 1976 moved backed to the Seattle area where I attended Shorewood high towards the end of the 11th grade I basically said screw this & joined the Navy for a 3 year tour (Loved the show Gilligan¿s Island by the way) I was stationed Pearl Harbor, HI. & I did graduate by going to night school my High school diploma reads a little funny St. Louis High Pearl Harbor, HI. rly 3 years. I Became a Machinist shortly after my discharge & I currently work for a sub contractor of Boeing writing machine code for our horizontal high speed machine cells & some old vertical dogs Very proud to be a part of the 787 project, can¿t wait to see it fly!! This is the first project were I haven¿t cut a single chip for both the Dream Lifter (large cargo freighter LCF for short only 3 of these planes in the world) or the Dream Liner 787 nothing but machine code for my part with these latest two planes! I¿m off the floor desk jocking it now trying not to become fat! Fifteen years ago I met my wife married 13 years now we have 2 children Jordan & Taylor 4 dogs 2 cats & a back yard that I don¿t go bare foot in love the dogs but there is a down side.
