Scott Gudes:  

Scott is from Alexandria, Virginia. His last position was as a Vice President for Government Affairs fat the American Sportfishing Association. Prior to joining ASA....Scott served for 6 1/2 years as VP for Space Systems at Lockheed Martin. Scott moved to DC and took a position with the Office of the Secretary of Defense as a Presidential Management Intern way back in 1978 right after earning an MPA at CSU Fullerton. Went on to work at OMB-(President Reagan's budget office), the US Senate Appropriations and Budget Committees....and the House Appropriations Committee. Served as Deputy Under Secretary and during 2001 as Acting Administrator and Under Secretary of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration or NOAA....the agency that runs the National Weather Service, Fisheries Service, Ocean Service, Environmental Satellite Service and research (from oceans to weather to climate). Spent a year in 2007/2008 as head of government affairs for the National Marine Manufacturers Assn (recreational boat manufacturers)...before being recruited by LM.
