Life After graduation, as many of you who might be reading this will know, I joined the United States Army. I went to Infantry Basic, AIT and Airborne School at Ft Benning GA the summer following High School. I was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division, 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment. I was there from 1983 to 1989 and participated in a few high adventure vacations; Grenada, Honduras, Panama (twice) and Canada. Canada because they have much better beer than Americans do! In 1989 I got out of the Army and went to Middle Tennessee State University where I majored in Political Science and History, graduating and getting a commission in the Army in 1994 in the Armor Branch. I was then assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 7 Cavalry Regiment, Ft. Stewart GA and following assignments were Ft. Knox KY, the Balkans Campaign where I worked in Germany, Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia and visited several other areas in central Europe.
