Voltaire (1694 - 1778) Always put off for tomorrow what you can do today. Wait, that didn’t come out right. -Tenchi Muyo Truly great madness cannot be achieved without significant intelligence. - Henrik Tikkanen Those who can laugh without cause have either found the true meaning of happiness or have gone stark raving mad. - Norm Papernick In a mad world only the mad are sane. - Akira Kurosawa If we have learned one thing from the history of invention and discovery, it is that, in the long run - and often in the short one - the most daring prophecies seem laughably conservative. - Arthur C. hur C. Clarke Eccentricity is not, as dull people would have us believe, a form of madness. It is often a kind of innocent pride, and the man of genius and the aristocrat are frequently regarded as eccentrics because genius and aristocrat are entirely unafraid of and uninfluenced by the opinions and vagaries of the crowd. - Edith Sitwell Science is not an occult enterprise like alchemy. It's not for nobles or royals in their palaces or monks in their cathedrals. Science is neither a faith nor sorcery. It is a provable fact that can transfigure and transform us out of very core. All the suffering of humanity; the ages of misery and darkness; science can change that. But what use is it if we don't bring its power to everyone? Mankind every where is in desperate need. They are waiting for the blessing of science. -Edward Steam- Steamboy(Anime)". More about Scott:"I am searching for purpose in life and was not able to find it at Capitol College, maybe I will find something at Towson to spark my interest. Edit (1/16/09): Purpose not found at Towson; am now attempting to join the coast guard after I go on a cruise in March. Edit (6/4/09) Cruise indefinably postponed due to economy and lack of funds, deposits still there though so I will go eventually, still looking to join the Coast Guard. Edit (12/16/10) Completed ASVAB for the Coast Guard with a score of 95%. Edit (1/6/11) Have moved to Florida to work construction for a few months to get in shape for the Coast guard Physical and boot camp.".
