Life
Where I have been, where I am: went off and got an engineering degree at A&M; did 5 years in the Navy doing boats&helos, intel&EW, LEO&computers; came back to the state to work for the state in San Marcos; got another degree in Marine Biology; now working on a MS in CJ with diversification in environment & heritage, home & family, electronics, and art security/theft (depends on which courses I'm currently taking); leaning toward to doing more LEO stuff, again for the state.
Picked up numerous scuba qualifications. Spend a lot of time assisting in instruction, public service projects, and have even trained with police/fire department dive teams.
Have been out on the drink since I got out of the Navy but on research trawlers with a lot less room!

School
Thrillsville in the days of BP (before the PC), no ATM's, and when there was actually something good on tv. If I had it all to do over again......well, it's a good thing that I don't because I'd probably make the same number of mistakes, just all new ones. Never repeat the same mistake, find a new one to make.
And from there, it was off to sea in the federal academy sense, then TAMU, then work, then more degrees. Two BS's, and about (6 months I guess), get a Masters. And then..................wait and see.
Military
Did it, could have done some things better, learned a lot, and WOW, how things change from the time when one was in!
