Scott's Story

After moving to St. Louis in 1969 I attended St. Louis Community College for 2 years, moved on to Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield for a year, and then relocated to California and graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Art/Liberal Studies. I traveled to India to learn meditation and spent a year traveling around the U.S. At a job interview I met the love of my life, Lisa. We eventually got married and had our daughter Kaitlyn, who is now 25. Lisa recently retired from teaching Elementary school and Kaitlyn currently works at a non-profit in Northern California. I returned to grad school and earned an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Ant...Expand for more
ioch University in Santa Barbara, and went on to receive a California Marriage and Family Therapy license. I then worked at agencies with clients with relationship and anger management issues, alcohol and drug issues, and with severely emotionally disturbed and developmentally disabled adults and children. To decompress from stress, I started writing music with a Kurzweil PC2 keyboard. Check out the 25 free music albums at scottkuehn.bandcamp.com. I am now retired and play my trumpet for fun with my "back-up" band, Spyro Gyra... I also like nature photography (at FineArtAmerica.com), riding my bike along the beach, and spending time with my family.
