Scott's Story

Life December 2008 I currently work as an engineer for a small family-owned company in Cedar Rapids, specializing in factory automation and robotics. I have been married for over 16 years and have a son Nikolas in high school. My lovely wife Kim is in the IT field. In my free time I pamper my '77 Trans Am, and like to take it to the drag strip occasionally. I drive it like I stole it, and when it breaks, I fix it. That's what muscle cars...Expand for more
are for, right? I like to play pool with my wife and son on a slate-top table I restored or at the local pub. Neither Kim or I like to dance, so that was our main dating activity before we were married. We moved to the Iowa City area in 2007, back to our adopted hometown, and love being back in Hawkeye country! Overall, I'm a simple guy -- I work hard when it's required and play hard whenever possible, and there's nothing wrong with that!
