Scott's Story
You old Berlin Brigade guys, there are a lot of us from Bco 5/502 INF on FACEBOOK. Look me up by name and I can add you as a friend. You can then see some of others from the Company / Battalion in my friends list.
After school I went directly into the U.S. Army where I spent 22 years. I retired in 2006. I wish I could have stayed in forever. It was a tough way to make a living but it was a great life style. I saw and did things most people only dream about. I helped free a country and I helped keep a country free.
I am married to a wonderful woman who, for some unknown reason, puts up with all my crap. I have 5 children (mine, hers and ours) who keep us busy. All but the youngest are adults but they still keep us jumping. My oldest son is currently in the Army and in Iraq following in his Dad's footsteps.

a part time fire fighter in my small town. When the Army assigned me back to Mass. as a recruiter, I needed something to fill the missing adrenaline rush. I learned very fast that being in a fire in a small town is just as dangerous as being in a fire in a large city.
Currently I am a regional manager for a transportation company. I never would have pictured myself as a business man, but, here I am. It is tough work but unlike the military it not so much physically tough as it is mentally. This is good because I am not getting any younger and the challenges of the mind are probably better as I age.
In my off time I try to run 3-4 miles a day and lift when I can. I am still continuing my education as time permits. My wife and I travel across New England camping, kayaking and enjoying the nice weather.
Life is good.
