Scott's Story
Life
Graduated from UTA (with an exciting degree in History); married w/ 2 kids; currently living in Fort Walton Beach, FL; Spent first 13 years of my AF career as a KC-135 and MC-130 Navigator and now flying a desk assigned to Headquarters, Air Force Special Operations Command. Two years until retirement from the Air Force (I love the AF, but I can't wait!).
Military
From my point of view the AF has been an aswesome experience. I have navigated around the world. I flew during Desert Storm, but was old guy...Expand for more
desk bound on a headquarters staff for Afghanistan and Iraq. I have been to Iraq twice, but only 60 days at a time - both times as an air planner. The intangible benefits have been awesome. Last spring I got to play guitar at the Hard Rock Café in Destin, FL with Jeff "Skunk" Baxter of the Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan. I capped off last spring getting a personal tour of the White House West Wing - truly fantastic and was invited to the White House ceremony for the Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers.
